Chandos is a diverse two form entry primary academy serving an aspirant inner city community, set just a few minutes walk from New Street Central and the heart of Birmingham’s City Centre.
Hollywood is a two form entry school located in South Birmingham. The school has recently taken on responsibility for an ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) Resource base which caters to the needs of 13 children, with specialist staff and resources.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced school business manager who will join our friendly and committed teams to build on the vision and developments of these popular schools.

POST 2 - LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR
CHANDOS PRIMARY SCHOOL

Lunchtime Supervisor Vacancy
Grade 2 Scale £18,562 to £20,493 pro rata
7.5 hours per week Term Time only based in Early Years
Start date 2nd September 2022
We wish to appoint a lunch time assistant to support in the Y1-6 lunch hall and on the main playground. The hours of work will be 11.45 to 1.15.
We offer a well resourced playground, an efficient lunchtime service with meals prepared on site, and a friendly, supportive and committed staff team.
The role will include supporting children with their lunches, cleaning any spillages and ensuring the dining area is clean at the end of lunch servings as well as actively supervising children on the playground and encouraging positive play.
You should have:
- The ability to ensure appropriate health and safety in the food hall
- High expectations for behaviour and manners at all times
- An understanding of child initiated play and activities in the playground
- Good personal and communication skills with adults and children
- The capacity to work actively within a team
